Domestication and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments in Korea

Join Ms. Jessica Yu and  Ms. Sung Min Ko as they discuss the viability of enforcing U.S. judgments in the Republic of Korea. Ms. Yu and Ms. Ko will discuss the process and procedure on how to domesticate and enforce foreign judgments in Korea. They will further discuss the nuances to consider when dealing with the Korean legal system. In addition to providing practical tips on how to navigate the Korean legal system, Ms. Yu and Ms. Ko will discuss the application of the Korean legal authority and international treaties that regulate domestication and enforcement of foreign judgments, arbitration, and settlements.
