This Institute is for attorneys who practice criminal law, or whose practice intersects often with criminal law issues. The Criminal Justice Institute addresses hot topics and the newest developments for defense and prosecuting attorneys, as well as special break-out sessions specifically designed for new attorneys or those new to criminal law and for those with years of experience.
In this comprehensive, two-day seminar you will get essential updates on recent legislation, evidence, search and seizure and more. You’ll interact with experience faculty on the issues you wrestle with on a regular basis, including courtroom etiquette, disproportionality, the confrontation clause, and ethical dilemmas. Faculty includes experienced attorneys, judges, law professors, and justice professionals.
