What are Limited License Legal Technicians, What Do They Do, and How Can They Help You Meet Your Client Needs?

The Washington State Supreme Court adopted APR 28, the LLLT Rule, effective Sept. 1, 2012, to allow non-lawyers with certain levels of training to provide technical help on simple legal matters. This CLE explains the training which the LLLT Rule requires; the services which it authorizes LLLTs to provide, and the ways in which LLLTs can help make legal services more affordable to the public.
