Friday, October 10, 2008 - Distinguished attorneys Nicole Weston and Adam Karp will review animal law cases and statutes and will discuss the challenges that prosecutors face when prosecuting these types of cases, the prosecution of dog fighting rings as well as the recent published decision of first impression, Sherman v. Kissinger, decided Sept. 29, 2008, and its impact on litigating veterinary medical malpractice cases in Washington.  Credits: 1.5 general CLE credits. 

Friday, August 15, 2008 – Animal Law Section Mini-CLE: "Use of Evidence Provided by K-9 Dogs by Attorneys in Criminal Cases."  Credits: 1.0 general CLE credit.

Saturday, June 14, 2008 Animal Law Section Mini-CLE:  "Regional Disaster Relief for Animals: A Lawyer's Contribution." This program provides an overview of disaster relief for animals from a legal perspective, including federal and state laws, county disaster planning, and legislative issues. Approved for 6.0 general CLE credits.

Thursday, April 24, 2008 - co-sponsored by the Animal Law Section,"The Sixth Annual Animal Law Conference." Approved for 6.5 CLE credits (6.0 general and .5 ethics).
