Loan Repayment Assistance Program

Due to funding issues, the Washington State Bar Foundation's Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP) Advisory Committee is not opening the program to new applicants in 2008. The Advisory Committee did not reach this decision easily. Committee members understand high student debt and low starting salaries make it difficult for many lawyers to pursue public service or legal aide positions. The Committee is reviewing the program and considering future options.
