Attend or Join a WYLC-Sponsored Program

The committee works to promote programs and other WSBA activities which support the professional development and satisfaction of young/new attorneys and law students.

View the events calendar for programs throughout the legal community. Click on "New and Young Lawyers Events" for upcoming programs and opportunities.

Serve on a WYLC Sub-Committee

While the WYLC has 18 official committee members, many other young lawyers work with the committee on various projects. WYLC Committees provide an entryway for new attorneys and law students looking to volunteer and make connections with their colleagues and state bar association.

To learn about upcoming meetings or current projects, contact the WYLC Chair.

Apply to Serve on the WYLC

Attorneys committed to serving their profession and excited to network with and share ideas with other bar leaders can get their start with the WYLC. Learn about applying to serve on a committee.

Looking for something different?

Your representative on the WYLC can help talk through the menu of opportunities available through your local bar, the WSBA, and throughout the legal community. Contact your representative for his or her perspective on new/young lawyer resources in your geographic area, and offer suggestions for resources and events that would assist you.
