industry and green fieldsThe Environmental and Land Use Law Section helps members keep up with this rapidly developing area of law. The Section provides various forums through which members can meet, exchange ideas with, and learn from others who practice in the field. The Section also sponsors law student internships and pursues a number of other community-service projects.

New Newsletter Editor, Raymond Swenson

The ELUL Section thanks Raymond Swenson for volunteering to fill the role of Section newsletter editor. Raymond is senior counsel with CH2M Hill Plateau Remediation Company in Richland, WA. He has a substantial background in legal publications, including serving as an associate editor of the Utah Law Review, assisting with the publication of environmental and natural resource law articles for the Idaho State Bar, and authoring several articles related to various aspects of environmental law. The newsletter editor serves an invaluable role for the ELUL Section as the person primarily responsible for annually publishing three editions of the newsletter. Anyone interested in contributing content to the newsletter should contact Raymond at Raymond_T_Swenson@rl.gov, or 509-376-3511. Ideas for articles and authors are always welcome.
