Legal Assistance to Military Personnel Section

american flag on military uniformThe WSBA Legal Assistance to Military Personnel (LAMP) Section addresses matters related to the rendition of appropriate and efficient legal service to members of the Armed Forces of the United States. Initially formed as a standing committee of the Washington State Bar Association in 1996, the LAMP Section was formed in October 2004.

On November 5th and 6th, Seattle University of Law is proud to co-sponsor The WSBA Legal Assistance to Military Personnel CLE program. Addressing the many technical, procedural and ethical issues in providing legal assistance to serving military and veterans this annual program is the best program for learning how to support our people of the military in Washington State. This training also qualified active duty judge advocates for limited admission to practice under the Admission to Practice Rule 8(g).
