Foreclosure Mediation

The Foreclosure Fairness Act (FFA) was enacted in Washington State in April 2011.  Implementation of FFA's provisions related to mediation began on July 22, 2011.  Learn more about the FFA Mediation Program:

National Mortgage Settlement

Washington and 48 other state attorneys general and the federal government reached agreement on a joint state-federal settlement with the country's five largest loan servicers, resulting in as much as $25 billion in relief to distressed homeowners.  Learn more at
