The American Bar Association Government and Public Sector Lawyers Division's annual awards program is designed to recognize the extraordinary achievements of public lawyers and to inform the general public about the outstanding work performed and the positive impact made by our nation's public lawyers.
The Division is seeking nominations for three national awards designed to recognize the extraordinary achievements of public lawyers: the Dorsey Award for an Outstanding Public Defender or Legal Aid Lawyer, the Hodson Award for Public Service, and the Nelson Award for Outstanding Service to the ABA.
The deadline for nominations is Tuesday, April 3, 2012.
