Access to Justice Board
Conference Planning Committee
Mission
Organize and coordinate the annual Access to Justice Conferences.
Access to Justice conferences have been held annually since 1996. The 13th Annual Conference is scheduled for June 6-8, 2008 at the Red Lion Hotel in Vancouver, Washington.
Each annual conference features a skit that sets the theme for the conference program. The report from each conference includes a set of recommendations (listed under "Related Publications" at right) that serve as benchmarks for measuring the progress of statewide initiatives from year to year. We are now working to make the recommendations document less voluminous and to develop an improved process for recording new recommendations and following up with recommendations in progress.
Workshop materials from the 2008 ATJ Conference can be found here.
