Purpose:

This committee was created to fulfill two main purposes:

 

Leadership Development

  • Implementing the ATJ Board's responsibility for "coordinating ongoing individual, organizational and statewide leadership development," as assigned in the 2006 State Plan.
  • Establishment of a plan to identify and develop leaders for the access to justice community, both within and outside the Alliance, who are as diverse as the people of our State.

Nominating

  • Identify and nominate new members for the ATJ Board.
  • Develop qualifications for and nominate candidates for ATJ Board Chair-Elect and Chair (every two years).
