Prosecuting Attorney

Under date of December 26,1950, you referred to this Committee a letter from a member of the Bar of this state, disclosing that the prosecuting attorney of a county of this state had defended before a justice of the peace in the prosecutor's county one charged with the violation of an ordinance of a town in the same county.

The Committee is of the opinion that it is not ethically proper for a prosecuting attorney to engage in such employment.
