The UCC Committee of the Business Law Section has recommended enactment in 2000 of Revised Article 9 with certain local variations. This recommendation has been indorsed unanimously by the executive committee of the section, by the WSBA legislative committee, and by the WSBA board of governors.

The report of the UCC Committee is attached, together with Appendix I (Washington Comments) and Appendix III (text of the proposed bill).
