Disciplinary Board

The WSBA Disciplinary Board carries out the functions and duties assigned to it by the Rules for Lawyer Discipline established by the Board of Governors and approved by the Washington State Supreme Court.

The Disciplinary Board is a 14 member board of 10 lawyers and 4 nonlawyers.  The lawyer members are appointed by the Board of Governors and the Nonlawyer members are appointed by the Supreme Court.  Each member serves a three year term and has one vote.  The full board meets bi-monthly beginning in November.  The board is also divided into 4 review committees.  One review committee meets each month.  Committee 1 meets in October, committee 2 meets in November, etc.
