Section Membership Information

Who Can Join?

Any active attorney member of the WSBA may join the Solo and Small Practice Section at any time; however, the membership year is October 1 through September 30 of the following year and dues are not prorated. Non-attorney individuals and law students are welcome to join and participate as "subscribers."

What is the Cost?

If you are a member of the WSBA, you pay the lawyer membership fee, currently $25.00 per year. If you are not an attorney in the state of Washington, you may join as a subscriber, at the same $25.00 per year rate. Law students may join this section and any other for $7.50 per year. Subscribers participate in section activities and receive section information, but do not have voting status.

How Do I Join?

Section membership coincides with the WSBA fiscal year and covers the period from October 1 to September 30 of the following year. Current section members receive a renewal invoice for each new year in early October. You may also join a section at any time during the year; however, dues are not prorated.

You may join the section online or mail in a section membership form with your dues payment.

Once you have paid your membership/subscription dues, you will be added to the membership of the Solo and Small Practice Section and will receive information about section activities.

Section Members: To join the section listserve and receive information about section activities and other section-related matters, please send your e-mail address and Bar number to questions@wsba.org.
