Washington Young Lawyers Division Wins Awards

The ABA Young Lawyers Division announced the winners of its 1998-1999 Awards of Achievement at the ABA Annual Meeting in Atlanta. More than 200 programs nationwide were considered, as well as newspapers from cities, counties and states across the country. The Washington Young Lawyers Division won two awards.

De Novo, the official newspaper of the WYLD, took second place in the Outstanding Newsletter category. This is the second year De Novo has won this distinguished award.

Additionally, LawTalk, the WYLD’s public service television series received special recognition (third place out of four award spots) for Outstanding Public Service Program.
