Thurston County Law Day Speech Competition

In honor of National Law Day, the Thurston County Bar Association will sponsor a high-school speech competition for students residing in or attending school in Thurston County. The preliminary competition will be held April 28 at 4:00 p.m. in the Thurston County Courthouse. The final round will take place May 2 at noon at the West Olympia Rotary Club’s luncheon at Cavanaugh’s on Capitol Lake. Lawyers are invited to attend the competition. For those planning to attend the luncheon on May 2, the cost is $13 and reservations are not required.
