Welcome to the WSBA’s New Governors

New governors Ken Davidson, Bill Hyslop and Lucy Isaki will take their seats at the WSBA Board of Governors (BOG) table beginning September 13, 2000. Ballots were counted at the WSBA office on June 19, 2000. Ken Davidson was unopposed in the 1st Congressional District. Bill Hyslop won the 5th Congressional District race with 433 votes. John M. Riley III received 237 votes and Peter J. Karademos received 174 votes. Forty-seven (47) percent of the approximately 1,795 members of the 5th Congressional District returned their ballots. Lucy Isaki won the 7th-West Congressional District race with 333 votes to Harry McCarthy’s 224 votes. Twenty-five (25) percent of the approximately 2,198 members of the 7th-West Congressional District returned their ballots.
