Rulemaking Procedures

Effective September 1, 2000, there are some noteworthy changes to General Rule 9, the Supreme Court's rule on rulemaking.

GR 9(g)(1) states that all proposed rules shall be published, including on the WSBA website, and that publication of proposed rules shall be announced in Bar News. Similarly, adopted rules shall be published, including on the WSBA website, and shall be announced in Bar News.
