Bring a Suit Project

Young Lawyers will have a chance to Bring a Suit at the 1999 Midyear. If desk-dwelling and stress have changed your shape, your style just isn’t what it used to be, or you have no more use for your good double-breasted navy interview suit with lucky red power tie, consider making a donation to someone just getting a start.

All people attending the midyear at Skamania Lodge are encouraged to bring professional clothing to donate to back-to-work programs in Skamania County run by The Domestic Violence Council and DSHS Work First. These programs help local residents transition into the work force through job searching, interview preparation, and placement assistance. Clients often do not have appropriate clothing to wear for job interviews. The programs are in need of all types of business clothes and shoes for both men and women.

A donation site will be available at the Lodge for your donation of suits, dresses, shirts, slacks, etc. A "filing fee" of $5 is requested for garments that are in need of dry cleaning.

You bring the suit, and help the decision go in their favor.
