FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT Free Community Legal Clinic to Be Presented November 15 in Winthrop by the Washington State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers DivisionSeattle Washington, November 13, 2003—The Washington Young Lawyers Division (WYLD) of the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) is sponsoring a free community legal clinic Saturday, November 15, 2003, in Winthrop, where members of the community can speak with a lawyer for 10 to 15 minutes at no charge. The clinic is open to all members of the community and will be held at the Winthrop Public Library, 509 Highway 20. “Volunteer attorneys will be available to listen to your story and hear your reasons why you believe you need an attorney,” said clinic organizer John Brangwin, a Wenatchee attorney and member of the Board of Trustees of WYLD, “and all discussions will be confidential.” He added, “Please note that these volunteers will not be acting as your attorney, but will hear your situation and use their resources to refer you to a local attorney if they believe it’s appropriate.” For more information about the clinic, please contact Mr. Brangwin at 509-663-3915 or john@wblawfirm.com.
