The Intellectual Property Section focuses on patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and related matters. The Section periodically publishes a newsletter and sponsors CLE courses.
In accordance with the section's bylaws, and with the exception of law students, an individual must be an active member of the WSBA.

Sept. 26, 2016 — IP Essentials for the Business Lawyer: Know Enough Not to be Dangerous
This is a valuable and practical seminar for general practitioners, business lawyers, and corporate counsel who need to quickly learn and understand the intellectual property (IP) issues that arise for the owners and operators in various business aspects of new business enterprises.
