Litigation Section

courthouse signThe Litigation Section strives to be the voice of civil litigators practicing in this state. The Section is involved in a wide range of activities of interest to those who handle civil matters in superior or federal court. Activities include review and formal input concerning legislation and rule making. The Section publishes a newsletter which keeps its members updated on current developments and events.

The Section sponsors an annual midyear seminar skills training; an annual dinner meeting with the Supreme Court for the Executive Committee, and production of various publications, including a quarterly newsletter, and the Civil Trial and Evidence Manual now in its 5th edition (2004).

Many sections provide a list serve as a member benefit. List serves provide a forum to learn about upcoming events, share information, and communicate with other members of the section. In most cases, you will be automatically subscribed to your section’s list serve soon after you join the section.
