The Litigation Section strives to be the voice of civil litigators practicing in this state. The Section is involved in a wide range of activities of interest to those who handle civil matters in superior or federal court. Activities include review and formal input concerning legislation and rule making. The Section publishes a newsletter which keeps its members updated on current developments and events. The Section sponsors an annual midyear seminar skills training; an annual dinner meeting with the Supreme Court for the Executive Committee, and production of various publications, including a quarterly newsletter, and the Civil Trial and Evidence Manual now in its 5th edition (2004).
