The WSBA is pleased to partner with students, staff and faculty at the three Washington law schools to form the WSBA Moderate Means Program, a statewide reduced-fee free lawyer referral service.

What Will I Do?

Under the supervision of a staff attorney at each school, law students from Gonzaga University, Seattle University, and the University of Washington volunteer to:

  • Conduct income screening and client intake
  • Perform case assessment
  • Refer eligible clients to participating lawyers
  • Receive training on substantive law and client management
