The WSBA staff and its members, attorneys from around the state, may be available upon request to address law students and other students of all ages, legal professionals, civic organizations, service groups, and other audiences on a variety of law and Bar service-related topics, including:

  • Issues and developments in the law, focusing on subject matter and practice-area specific topics.
  • Lawyer discipline and the structure and procedures of Washington's lawyer discipline system.
  • Ethics and professional responsibility. Common issues include conflict of interest, client confidentiality, withdrawal, client communications, fee arrangements, trust accounts, and advertising.
  • Practice Management. Topics include technology, marketing, financial issues, staff management, and surveys of general issues.

WSBA will make every effort to match a speaker request to an appropriate speaker. At least four weeks' notice is preferred.
