Welcome Back, WSBA Lending Library

  • After a long overdue wait, we are happy to announce the reopening of the WSBA Lending Library. The Lending Library is scheduled to reopen to members on Sept., 1 2021 for both in-person and online checkouts. 

    Please be aware of these changes: 

    • Shipping and returns will be processed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. To accommodate this, the return time period has been extended to 25 days.
    • To offer the most up to date inventory, we will be removing all holds placed during the COVID closure. If you have a current hold, we will not be contacting you regarding this title. If you still wish to have this item shipped, please email lendinglibrary@wsba.org and we will process your hold. Otherwise, all current holds will be removed.
    • If you currently have Lending Library materials, please return them. You are welcome to return items directly to the WSBA Office in-person beginning Monday, Aug. 2, or via USPS mail. *Please note that we are accepting in-person returns only, beginning on this date. The library will not be open for check outs until Sept. 1.

WSBA Lending Library Usage Standards

The WSBA Lending Library (Library) is a service to members offering the short-term loan of items on topics related to practice management, wellness, and career development.

The following usage standards apply to all members using the Library.

What Happens If I Do Not Return an Item on Time?

You may be charged a late fee for each day that an overdue item is not returned. Fines begin to accrue on the seventh (7th) day after an item is due as follows:

You will not be able to check out items if you have any outstanding fines. Outstanding fines must be paid in full to borrow any additional items. To see if you have outstanding fines or to make payment, email us at pma@wsba.org.

How Can I Pay My Fine? 

You will receive an invoice for all fines. There are three ways to pay a fine:

  1. Credit Card. To arrange payment by credit card, please call us at 206-733-5914. Please note that our service provider will charge you a separate, non-refundable transaction fee of 2.5% on all bank card transactions. There is no transaction fee if you mail in a check. 
  2. In Person. You can stop by our offices and pay by cash, or check made out to "WSBA Lending Library."  Record your WSBA license number in the memo line so that your account is credited.
  3. Mail. You can mail us your check or money order to the address below. Record your WSBA license number in the memo line so that your account is credited.

What If I Lose an Item?

You will be charged a fine for any Library materials you lose or misplace.  Fines vary based on the cost to replace the item.
