The Washington State Bar Foundation helps fund WSBA programs that provide legal assistance to our state’s most vulnerable populations through the Powerful Communities Project; match moderate income clients with legal professionals who work for reduced fees through the Moderate Means Program; and ensure the legal profession reflects the communities it serves and supports all members. With your help we can continue to support this important work. Please donate today.

Your Donation Supports These Crucial WSBA Programs:

Powerful Communities Project. This initiative provides funding for projects that help ensure access to legal representation for our state's most vulnerable populations. We provide grants to organizations that serve people who experience poverty and other forms or marginalization. The initiative also creates pro bono opportunities for WSBA members. To date, 59 grants totaling $184,000 have been awarded to organizations for projects taking place in 23 counties throughout Washington, as well as some projects with statewide reach.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. The Bar Foundation ensures WSBA has the resources to sustain its diversity programs and supports events like statewide community networking events and trainings.

The Moderate Means Program has helped provide reduced-fee legal assistance for more than 3,700 people who had nowhere else to turn, keeping legal help within reach.
