Newly elected to represent District 1 on the Board of Governors, Sunitha Anjilvel was sworn in May 16 by Yakima County Superior Court Judge David Elofson at the board's meeting in Yakima.
Anjilvel was elected by the Board of Governors to replace Michael Cherry who recently resigned from representing District 1 on the board.
