This CLE is designed to equip juvenile law attorneys with essential knowledge and resources necessary to support and improve outcomes for Juvenile Justice-involved youth. This view from the bench will provide a brief overview of diversion and probation, will focus on detention, sentencing, and alternatives, and then wrap up with a review of institutions, community facilities, and programs. The objective is to provide a foundational knowledge to cross-system juvenile law attorneys, attorneys considering a practice in juvenile justice, or those desiring a refresher course.
