This Mini-CLE will address various aspects of evidentiary matters in administrative law hearings. We will learn how the admission and consideration of evidence in these hearings differs from the Evidence Rules and related conventions and expectations. We will discuss how hearsay is allowed and weighed. Based on the personal experiences of the presenter(s), we will suggest strategies for effectively admitting and presenting evidence.
Prior to the Mini-CLE, join us for the Homan Award reception 5:30–6:30 p.m. with appetizers provided by the section and a presentation of the award at 6 p.m. The Mini-CLE will begin at 6:30 p.m.
