Mental Health (Part 2): Suicide Prevention in Youth

This CLE seminar provides an overview of the topic of suicide, signs, and symptoms, and how professionals should respond in times of crisis. The training will dive into the rates of youth suicide, risk factors, and proactive steps to take for prevention. Participants will have opportunities for discussion, including self-harm and social media. This training has many resources to utilize and share, as well as being useful for concerns of suicidal ideation in adults as well.
The Juvenile Law Section will also provide and review a Suicide Prevention Quick Sheet with Ethical Considerations.
